Time for some real talk....like SERIOUS real talk. You do NOT mess around with mental trauma.

They probably think that it's babyish compared to the BIG issues for a galactic police officer. "Hmm what should we put effort and focus on more? A being who's got mesmerizing powers, experimenting on innocent civilians and MIGHT have a possible connection to a LONG Missing Space Princess still being investigated....Or someone losing sleep and having bumps in the night?"

You're exactly right. This is why they went so long without telling her. They think their own mental health is farther down the totem pole compared to everything else they've been dealing with, when really, if they address this issue now, then solving their other problems would probably go a lot easier.

Preach it, Casey! Mental issues happen every day, but some think "they're just trying to get attention. They'll snap out of it and get over it." That is, to me, a stigmatic attitude.

Exactly! Mental health needs to be taken seriously. There's no shame in admitting it, or asking for help.

"I can handle it!"

"You might want a second opinion on that...."

No second opinion on this. JJ is still moving up in the rankings, so please click HERE, and help it along. (Voting every day is the most effective method.) ^^

P.S. Nice use of the old fashioned name for PTSD. It kinda dates Bolt. ^^

Everyone thinks they can handle it until they can't.

And as you'll see on the next page, Bolt DOES know more about PTSD than you'd think. His dated terminology of it, though, might just be a universal translator issue.
