Would this make Mr. Meesmer the best teacher ever, considering he's telling a student to not worry about their schoolwork and just relax?

Good teachers give breaks. I am enjoying this chapter! Such emotion in your characters! And Hydrar doesn't seem like a overly strict person, yet makes it clear that order must be kept. He's a good guy! =)

Thanks for the kind words! And I'm glad you picked up on that. For how strict and uptight Hydrar seems to be most of the time, he actually does have a sense of knowing when to bend the rules a bit. No matter how many rules that a governing body thinks up, you can't plan for every possible contingency. There's always going to be a grey area.

It would if he wasn't strong on hypnosis. Mind control is where I draw the line and it can't be good for developing brains to have it washed so frequently.

Nope. And it can be argued just how much real history is left out of public school text books.

It would make him the most popular teacher ever, but since his students wouldn't learn much, perhaps "best" isn't the right word.....

That is a VERY good point. "Popular" and "best" do not go hand in hand. XD

I never did like school.

I think everyone inherently loves to learn. But a lot of times, schools and the way they're run make learning stuff a boring slog, or worse, make students feel terrible when they're not given the help they need.
