"This is what you're working with." You're like an alien MacGyver, right Jamie? ^^;;;

you know its times like this that make me wonder why Clara even thinks of trying to talk when she knows that Jamie is trying to help. and dont give me that excuse of "oh she grew up alone and picked on longer than she can count".
I write about a DarkNeon Ally who sunk herself into a situation where she became a possessed witch who turned anyone that stood in her way into animals, Including her best friend and her own family, and even AFTER she discovers friends she can hang out and fight evil with, she doesn't come off like she's still got Post traumatic bullied disorder.

I know what you mean there. And yeah; Clara still has a ways to go. She's learning to trust more, a little at a time. It won't be an overnight process. She's definitely come a ways since the first episode, though.

Even if they're not agents they're good friends. ;)

Yeppers. They're getting on the spot training. XD

Wow, Jamie looks mighty depressed...I feel sorry for her =(
KarToon12 1st Mar 2015, 4:16 PM
Yeah, it's finally kind of hitting her that there's a good chance she might be stuck on Earth forever. :(

Reaches behind Clara and gibbs her.. COME ON already.. give it a rest. I think Jamie has more than proven herself a friend the least you could do is act like it. *SIGH*

Clara's getting better in time. At least in the recent episodes, she feels guilty when she does get snippy like that. Plus, the way Jamie worded that statement, it gave Clara the impression that Jamie was frustrated that Clara and Tyler aren't as "good" as her old team members. (Which isn't true, but none the less, that's how Clara interpreted it.)
bejjinks 28th Feb 2015, 9:40 PM
Take it easy on Clara. I don't think it's a "Post traumatic bullied disorder" but I do think that it's bad training. Clara grew up learning the wrong things to say and it has become a reflex for her. She just needs to relearn what to say. I don't think anyone ever taught her "HOW" to be a friend so she's doing the best she can. Give her a break.

Exactly. And this episode is going to really kick start her process of deciding whether she really wants to expose JJ or not. She still wants to tell everyone about aliens...but that doesn't mean she wants to see Jamie get hurt.

Regrets on your lack of training Jamie?
KarToon12 1st Mar 2015, 4:22 PM
A bit, yeah. Jamie can't be an expert in everything. ^^;;;

A part of me wants to slap clara for still being a sarcastic ass, which is REALLY starting to get annoying, but at the same time, I can't help but not get full rage mode on because as bejjinks said, she grew up in a pretty bad area (I'm assuming with the hints she gives of her parents, who I'm also assuming are pretty crappy at parenting, but that's just my guess) We can only hope she'll get that well needed development she needs
KarToon12 2nd Mar 2015, 2:30 PM
Being sarcastic is just who she is. It's how she deals with everything. XD

But she IS learning to not be as snarky; at least to her friends. It's a slow process.
