Two things:

Never let Jamie cook.

And never tell Aunt Reenie your secrets.

You Mean you should NEVER tell Tyler. That's how Aunt Reenie knew.GREAT page again KarToon12/Casey.If Jamie doesn't know how to cook why doesn't Clara teach her or show her.

That's true. XD

I'm sure Clara HAS been trying to teach her. She just sucks at it. XD

A, pumpkin pie. That usually is always sold out at Aldi, which is why for this weekend we ended up having Dutch Apple Pie instead. It's still good.
And happy Veterns Day! Wonder how Jamie would of wanted to spend that day...
And ship teasing ahoy! XD

I'm sure it is, because pumpkin pie's one of the greatest pies ever. XD

I'm sure she'd celebrate it if she knew what it was.

Oh crud, I told her about the time I cut a slice of pie, but then took the whole pie and just left the slice I cut, tom and jerry style. Only no one was around to watch me do it so it's not like I was trying to be funny, I was just being fat!

Making pies is sort of a hobby of mine. At Thanksgiving everybody seems to make pumpkin, and pecan pies, so I make a shoo-fly pie to prevent duplicating someone else's. This year, I'm also planning a buttermilk pie.

KarToon12
What's a "shoo-fly" pie? How do you make it? :)
RG2Cents 13th Nov 2013, 9:09 PM edit delete reply

Well, Shoo-fly pie started with the Pennsylvania Dutch, but was adopted by the south where you hear more about it now. It's a molasses pie, but when it's finished, the filling has the consistancy of a very moist cake, and has an almost chocolatey taste. It was developed by the German immigrants during covered wagon days because it's made of ingredients which don't easily spoil. It's one of my favorite pies. You can see a picture of it and get the recipe here.
