Okay; lots of things to say here:

First; I REALLY hope this page isn't too hard to read. It was tricky to try and cram so much exposition in just one page. ^^;; If it's too hard, let me know, and I'll try to fix this when the book is eventually printed.

Next; JJ now has 20 subscribers! That's like, one new person reading for each page uploaded! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!! YOU ALL ROCK!! Thank you for all the helpful comments. The constant support is what keeps me going. Here's to hoping we can find more people to join the adventure! <3

And finally; just 8 pages left, and issue one will be complete.

Next page-things are about to go bat $h!t crazy...D:

Congrats on all the subscribers! :D And you did a pretty good job on the page, though for some reason it was kind of hard to read Tyler's lines in the red boxes... But this is an awesome story so far! ^_^

Thanks, and yeah, I see what you mean. For some reason, my computer doesn't like the color red very much. I might have to change Tyler's box colors in future issues.

I think the problem is artifacting. Try uploading in PNG format. It cleared that up for me. ;)

How do you do that? Is that just an option you can choose when you're saving?

Congrats on the subscriptions :)
I only have like 5. lol

The text is a little blurry on this page. You might want to save it under a different file format, like .PNG I save all my pictures in that format.

I've just been trying to spread the word in any way I can. I think the more you talk in the forums, the more exposure you get. Try that. :)

It's wierd that only Tyler's boxes are affected. I might just have to change the color of them; I'll see what I can do.

lucky.. My comic's been around since last year and I'm behind you by two subscribers :'(

I agree with the others, make sure to use .PNG format for your comics. Its a lossless format that won't cause artifacts. Jpeg is a useless format, don't use it.

Also, RUN FOR YOUR LIIIIIFE Clara!! He's eeeeeviiiil!!

We'll just have to get you some more then. XD

Is that just an option you can pick when you hit "file-save as"?

Hmm, yes indeed ^^ Got any ideas?

Should be an option. Depends on the program. But in most cases, it should be under .png or "Portable Network Graphic"
Do you have photoshop?

Hey! Congratulations! You have more than twice as many subscribers as I do! That's great!

And yeah, for this page I noticed some blurring around the text. PNG formatting is probably the way to go. JPEGs lose a lot of res when you scan your work. All of my pages are JPEG, but I don't do any scanning. All my work is in the 'puter, start to finish. I start really big with a 200dpi bmp. Then I shrink it before I save in jpeg. JPEG's are useful in that they aren't usually a big file to upload, but they do lose a lot of their resolution if you don't handle them juuuuust right. ;-)

We'll have to help you find some more, then. XD

I draw the pages first with pencil and paper, then I scan them into the computer and color them. So far, the slight blur just seems to only happen to Tyler's boxes. I might have to adjust the color of his boxes so the words are more clear.
