Even if the lunch lady and coach weren't developed much in the personality department, I still wanted to make it a point to say that these WERE actual people with backstories, and families that are looking for them. Too many times, I see movies, TV shows, and such that treat the victims like cardboard cut outs, and promptly forget about them when the action or story takes a new turn.

So even if we don't know much about them, we'll still have an update on them periodically.

Also, I'm particually proud of those last few panels. Hands are something I struggle with, so I cheer a bit whenever I can get them just right. :)

And finally, I've got one more narration video done! And it's a reading of another Avengers short story I wrote.

Everyone struggles with hands. Hands hate being drawn for some reason.

I know. It's so much confusing detail in such a tiny space. ><

Yes... background characters are rarely fleshed out too much. For better or worse.

Well... did her power work on it?

Background characters are tricky to develop. On the one hand, too little information makes them flat and boring. But too MUCH information will distract the reader away from the people we SHOULD be focused on.

We'll see in a second...

I like the last few panels not only for the work on the hands, but the story content as well. For some reason, as I was looking at them, I heard the Silver Surfer from the "Super Hero Squad" saying, "Oh wow! She's using the Power Cosmic on it! A totally Cosmic idea!"

Sometimes I just can't help myself...

Thanks! And now that you said that, I can't get it out of my head. XD

We'll see in a second if this idea was "cosmic" or not.
